Quoth the Raven blog has a fun challenge this month. Quest #26 - Colour BingPoe. Click on the link to see more wonderful projects by the Design Team that use other color combinations.
I am also going to enter this magnet over at Smudgy Antics. Their Anything Goes Challenge is going on right now. Come over and play!
I have decided to use the bottom row, Mint, Olive, and and Sage. I have used current and retired inks from Stampin' Up for this project.
Forgotten Deets
I have used images from Smeared Ink. The images are all stamps from one of the past offerings of the Smeared Ink Rubber Club set, Quoth The Raven (February 2013).
Images are stamped on Whisper White and fussy cut.
Exacto knife on Poe's shoulders and wings stuck in and adhered.
Used fine tip end of Old Olive marker to eyes darker.
Sponged around sides of background.
Masked Poe's face and stamped background.
Crystal Effects on stamped saying, Poe's face, skull eyes and nose.
Magnet piece is from a larger rectangle that you get w/ your phone book.
Top picture is the completed magnet hung on my filing cabinet.
All materials used are Stampin' Up! and are current unless otherwise noted.

ReplyDeleteHey Matney, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. To answer your question : I don't make digital pages, never. These are always made with my lil fingers full of ink, paint and gesso, which make me feel a bit lonely at the office on Monday mornings....
