Woo hoo, new Art Journal Challenge over at the Smeared and Smudged Forum. This month: Anything Goes. So, had to join! My Day of the Dead AJ page for today:
Viva La Deets:
Page was made with home made gelli plate, wall paper tape, texture tools, and acrylic paints.
When dry, pulled off tape.
Center image is made with a stencil from The Crafters Workshop (.com). Sponged in with Black Archival Ink.
Sugar skull stamp is from Inkadinkado set called Petite Skeketons. Stamp was inked with a purple ink and randomly stamped around main image.
Leaves are stamped with Meadow Moss ink and are from set called Summer Silhouettes.
Silver marker doodles randomly all over page.
Saying was written in marker. Gone over again with Silver Marker.
Saying:
Al diablo la muerte, mientras la vida nos dure.
To hell with death while we're still alive.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! (SU!) unless otherwise noted.
