Punk You Girl and Delicious Doodles Challenges

I am into Creepmas cards at the moment and have another one done and ready to enter into some challenges.  This was inspired by Ike's World Challenges #27 where cats and dogs have the spotlight.  As you can guess, I have considered all the canine families...

First up for my card entrant is Punk You Girl.  A month long challenge where this month, Anything Goes Dark or follow along with the amazing DT with the theme Creepmas.  I shall do both!

Next is the Delicious Doodles Challenge blog.  Teri, who drew this wonderful image is also part of this blog, so it goes to say that you must use a Delicious Doodles image to win the prize.  Challenge #112 is Let's Face the Music.

Lots of inspiration from many places allowed me to have fun an create this Creepmas card.  Enjoy and get those voices in tune!

Delicious Doodles Challenge #64

I was perusing the challenge blogs and came across Delicious Doodles The Challenges.  Check out some of Teri's wonderful images at her Delicious Doodles Shop.

I had to enter the Challenge #64 - Inspired By A Movie!  I have used the image Horrorscope - Pisces.  Be sure to check out all the Zodiac Signs, they are awesome!
I was inspired by all of the Alien movies.  They are mostly dark colors or black, but I wanted to be able to really see the drawn artwork so I lightened up the color.  The pink I used in my last post must still be in my brain.
I made a pencil topper.  I know that most of them stick over the end of the eraser, but I made it so that the topper can slide up and down the pencil.

Hair Raising Details

I made a second opposite copy of image and printed out each on Neena paper.
I used Copic markers to color in.
Fussy Cut.
Smoky Gray to color in the backs of cut images.
I used Duck Tape to make the circle holder for the pencil.  This was then adhere onto each cut images with Sticky Strip.
Crystal Effects on both sides.
All materials used are Stampin' Up! and are current unless otherwise noted.

Smudgy Antics Challenge Broken Heart #2

"We have all been there...crying our eyes out because somebody we loved broke our hearts.  If you haven't had a broken heart, I'm sure you helped one of your best friends mend their broken heart or watched your children get their hearts broken. This fortnight we want you ladies and gents to create a project depicting a broken heart or being broken hearted."

Smudgy Antics Challenge is still open for 1 more day!  Get crafty and get your entry in.   Broken Heart is the challenge.  Click HERE and HERE to see what awesome projects the DT had created.  I was inspired the first time by the DT and the second by an entry done by CARLA

All Good Deets Must Come To An End
Image is from Delicious Doodles.  Printed out on copy paper.

Heart
So hard to see, but the heart is puffed a little bit because I added some old dryer sheets under it to help puff it up.

Heart was colored with Cherry Cobble marker.  Antique Linen Distress Crackle Paint over entire heart.

Added Crystal Effects over to make look vein-ie and organ like.
Drips and blood pool also have Crystal Effects.

Black Sharpie to go around heart.

Flower
Crushed Curry and Smoky Slate markers for rose.  Pistachio Pudding and Smoky Slate marker for stem and leaves.  White marker for highlights.

Background
I masked heart and stamped Parlor Prints in Crushed Curry and Sanded in Cajun Craze, both Stampin' Up!  (retired).  Matted on Crushed Curry card stock and then on Basic Black card stock card.

Saying is from Loving Thoughts stamp set, Stampin Up! (current) and stamped in Black Staze On.
I used sharpie to re-write Never and cross out Always.
