When I colored this fab-lish image in from Lizzy Love at Odd Ball Art Co., it just reminded me of a pissed off teenager with those cynical looks and stand off-ish posture. And we all know how embarrassing it is when we show up some place wearing the same "outfit" as someone else. Here's to all the teenage sexy nurses this Halloween:
For those oversea Lurkers...
SKANK: Derogatory term for a (usually younger) female, implying trashiness or tackiness, lower-class status, poor hygiene, flakiness, and a scrawny, pockmarked sort of ugliness. May also imply promiscuity, but not necessarily.

HDH and ASiD #6 Challenges
Haunted Design House Macabre Monday Challenge is Alien Abduction/Invasion. I was sooo excited and then had to leave town. But thankfully I was able to get a project in this week.
One of my favorite top 5 SciFi is the 1956 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. One of my favorite parts is when the human faced dog is shown on the street. Awesome.
Then, a movie called Mars Attacks came out in 1996, and I again loved another human headed canine. So with the wonderful use of alien pods and technology we have some fabulous new creatures.
My card for this challenge and the Anything Goes #6 Challenge over at A Step in the Dark blog was inspired by these two movies. You all know I love cats, so had to adjust.
Check out the inspiration and get your creativity flowing by the out of this world Design Teams on HDH and ASiD.
Transplanted Details
Basic Black card stock as base and layers. Whisper White card stock on front, inside, and layers. Wisteria Wonder card stock for layers and ink.
Main images stamped with Memento Black ink.

Weekly SI DT Project and S&S Forum Very Sketchy Card
Back from a week away from the fam. Such a great time at the Stampin' Up! Convention and so nice not to cook or clean.
Home now and ready to enjoy the second half of the summer. Okay, on to the post!
Today is my Weekly Smeared Ink Project which was inspired by the Very Sketchy Card sketch for July over at the Smeared and Smudged Forum. I had colored in this image before I left and have been thinking on how to use it. My layers are a bit different but the base structure is there.
The third week after school was out, I kept hearing from my kids that they were so boooorrrreeed. Well I gave them plenty of options, but always "no." So this card is for all those kids who have absolutely NOTHING to do during the summer. =)
The Details Just Lying Around
Image is from a Smeared Ink digital set called Stitchy Situation. Printed out onto Whisper White card stock and colored in with Blendabilities. Little guy was fussy cut and adhered onto background.
Background is homemade gelli plate creation.
Journaling pen used to write in "SO BORED" and some doodling, a sad try at some Zentangle. Words were colored in with pink Blendabilty.
Bottom words "save me" are made with journaling pen and old scrap of paper from another project.
Bottom paper is from Sizzix Little Sizzles Classic paper pack.
Card base is Chocolate Chip card stock.
Ribbon is Venetian Crochet Trim, Linen Thread, and Burlap Ribbon.
New mini staples from the Handheld Stapler, which will be offered in the upcoming SU! Holiday catalog.
Corduroy button (retired) for embellie.
A sewing pin with a skull from a bracelet on side.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Ike's World Challenges DT Project
Well, I hope you all are having a great June. I have been slightly confused for the majority. Some how I managed to print off three June calendar's all with different dates. I try to keep a calendar for each of my groups (Design Teams, kids/fam, and Stampin' Up!). I think I need to come up w/ a better system! I managed to lose a week and so missed my normal DT posting date for Ike's World Challenges, eeeek!
So, here is my card a little late but you still have time to join Challenge #19 - Monochrome. I have chosen to work with an image from Ike's Art called Face On, in the shades of green.
Hope you join this and please leave some comments for the wonderful projects that the Design Team has created to inspire you. Thanks!

Words and handwritten with marker. Oops, just noticed I spelled proportion wrong on my card. SIGH.
Crystal Effects on eyes and teeth.

Ike's World Challenges DT Project #18
Welcome to Challenge #18 - Song / Film Title Challenge. We have all been inspired at one time or another by a song or film. Here at Ike's World Challenges the Design Team have some wonderful inspiration to help get closer to winning the prize.
I have a card that uses an image from Ike's Art that for some reason spoke to me for this challenge. I was inspired by WOLF 3 and the song Little Red Riding Hood by Sam the Sham & The Pharaohs. I am a sucker for any songs in the 40's, 50's. and 60's. This song was released in 1966 and has always been a favorite.
Thanks Ike for you wonderful image and just so happy to hopefully inspire you to join in this round.
Riding the Deets
WOLF 3 was printed onto Whisper White card stock and colored in with markers, inks, and Aqua Painter.
Once done and dried, high-lighted with Crysta effects and glitter.
Background is a Faux Patina technique with metal sheet, acrylic paints, and sanding paper.
Card base is Soft Sued.
Silver Marker to add lyrics of song.
Cajun Craze marker for eyes and sploches on wolf.
Soft Suede Taffeta ribbon and Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder (retired) on background area.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Smeared Ink Weekly DT Project and Very Sketchy S&S Challenge

Made a card using this month's card sketch for the Very Sketchy Smeared and Smudged May 2014 Challenge, on the Smeared and Smudged Forum.
All stamps are from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club. Grumpie and saying is from a Past Rubber Club Offering set called Creepy Lil' Grumpies (Aug 2013). So this card fits with my Weekly Design Team project that only uses Smeared Ink stamps.
The Bits and Pieces
Grumpie and saying are stamped with Momento Black ink. Colored in with SU! new Blendabilities Markers, alcohol based.
Silver Marker for bolts and eyebrows.
Flower layering embellie is from stash. Crystal Effects on heart.
Washi Tape black polka dot down center of card.
Paper from Etcetera Designer Paper pack.
Cut and made my own arrow.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
