A card for today using a creep-tacular image by the one and only Rick St. Dennis.

Annabella Arsenic is the name of this image and I know that when she comes a knockin' this Halloween, I AM going to give that sweet lass some candy!

THE DEETS

Wings are stamped with Black Archival Ink and from Stampotique Originals by Daniel Torrente called Wings.

Saying was also stamped with same ink and from set called Piece of Poison (SU! - retired).

Image was printed onto Whisper White card stock, colored with Blendabilities, outlined with marker.

Ink on background was stippled and frame was sponged.

Entire image gone over with Versa Mark ink.  

Clear Embossing Powder over and heat set.

Card base is Tangerine Tango card stock.

My son (6) decided he wanted to color in the spider.  Pretty good job I say!

All materials used are current Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Ike's World Challenges DT Project

It's Challenge #22 - Feathered Friends over at the fab Ike's World Challenges blog.  Remember that you must use one of Ike's images which you can find at Ike's Art or use the FREEBIE she has so wonderfully provided.  This is the last week for this challenge.  Please stop by, enter your project, and see what Team A and Team B has made for inspiration.

I have made a card using a digital stamp from the set SHOES SET OF 4. 

 

Leather N' Deets

Shoe
Shoe was printed out 4 times.  Twice on Whisper White cards stock and twice on copy paper.
Colored in Blendabilites.

Silver part of shoe was fussy cut.
Colored in with Silver Marker and Silver Inka Gold rub.
Small Pearls for texture also covered with rub.

Wings were fussy cut out of copy paper and layered on printed shoe base.
Then top silver part of shoe with wings were then adhered with dimensionals.
Wings were gone over with Moonlight Pearlized Smooch ink.
Crystal Effects over top layer of wings w/ glitter.

Colored in area of shoe was gone over with Crystal Effects.
Black Sharpie for shoe bottoms.

Background
Cut a mask from copy paper to cover finished shoe.
Placed Chevron stencil over image and used Pink Pirouette Smooch Spritz (retired).
Black Sharpie for dots in corners and around words.
Silver Marker for lines for frame and words.

Today got down and dirty with an art journal page for Day 5 of Smudgefest.

Flyin' Away w/ the Details

Used brush and White Gesso on blank page.  Let dry.
Distress inks w/ water and brush.
Circle stencils with Dylusion Ink Sprays.

Smeared Ink stamps are from a Rubber Club Past Offering called The Keepers (April 2014).
Stamped with black Momento ink.
Images are colored in with Blenabilities and markers.

Smooch Pearlized Inks to give sheen, which can be seen in the Flash pic.
Silver Dazzling Details on wings to give texture and depth.
