Yes, that day dedicated to love is just around the corner and we hope to get you inspired for this day. For my IWC Design Team project I have made a card using one of the new release images from Ike's Art called Zip It.
Infinite Details of Love
Zip It was printed out onto Whisper White card stock.
Markers to color in image.
Gold Marker for eye, zipper, and bits on light piece.
Black Sharpie to go around edges of cut image and card base.
Scrap designer paper for the piece in zipper opening.
Fine tip black Sharpie for hand written words.
Card base is Crisp Cantaloupe card stock.
White Dylusions Spray Ink on sides.
Crystal Effects over random swirls, light piece, and eyes.
Glitter over Crystal Effects areas.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
Hey sweet Shoni - are you Canadian? I figure you must be (or at least somewhere in your heritage cuz of the degree you apologized in your message on our DT blog!) You are the sweetest of sweet and only we Canadians are known for apologizing even for existing! I love this image and the way you have designed ZIP IT. I figured it would be the hardest one of the lot to decorate and man, you have done an amazing job! Your colors are so vibrant and they just offset each other so beautifully. Hey, do you do dye jobs for others in the same color (oh, maybe just with your markers.) Again, I want to say how much I appreciate that you leave instructions and details about how you do your cards. It is so helpful and is so generous of you to share this - process is something most people, including myself, don't share on their blog yet is such a learning tool. Great is you Matney!!!! Love and Hugzzzz, Samara xox
