Smudgefest 2014 Day 6

Day 6 Challenge - Saturday Splatter - Create something splattery, oozing, drippy, or gooey.

I believe this blood thirsty bunny is a descendant from The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog whom is mostly known for its small part in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  Nothing says 20th century more than a pink hoodie!

Photo Inspiration

Welcome once again to another Smudgefest challenge.  So fun to wake up and wonder what will be created each day for the week long challenge.  Be sure to check out each day and see what the other fabulous entries are.

I had to think on this pic while I had my first cup of coffee.  The colors and patterns were my main inspirations.  Here is my decorated bag featuring a Smeared Ink digital stamp from the set Calaveras.

Smudgefest 2014 Day 2 & Oh!TH! August

See what Smudgefest 2014 is all about here starting with Day 1.
Today's Day 2 Challenge is Terrifying Tuesday - Showcase a project using your favorite scarey image.

I have chosen the head from a Smeared Ink digi set called Gross Anatomy.  I am showcasing a book/notebook that was also inspired from the Oh! The Horror! Challenge for the month of August at the Smeared and Smudged Forum.

The challenge has you create a project inspired from a movie, which is World War Z.  The whole world is affected and the main character must infect himself with the zombie disease in order to save the last of the human population.  This movie was also based off a great novel by Max Brooks.

This is a notebook for charting the disease and how it is taking control of the human body.  See the pulsing infected veins and the last bit of humanity in the eye?  Lets hope all the books being written and science can save us from a Zombie Apocalypse!

Smudgefest 2014 Day 1 & QTR #35

It is Day 1 for Smudgefest and the challenge for today is:
Mixed Media Monday -
You must use at least 3 different kinds of mediums in your project
 and
at least 1 Smeared Ink image to be entered into the grand prize drawing

I have an art journal page for today's entry.
I am also going to enter this page at Quoth The Raven, Nevermore.

As you probably guess, this page uses the Smeared Ink stamp set Quoth the Raven (Feb 2013).
I was also inspired by an Art Journal Everyday tutorial from the wonderful Julia Vasquez.  The technique is #27 Making Marks.
Once my marks were finished, it reminded me of a wall.
So I wrote some quotes from The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe.

Smeared Ink Weekly DT Project, ASiD #7, & PYG #15

This is going to be one busy crafty week so be ready for lots of posts!  Hope to get you inspired and get going on some of those projects that you have been wanting to finish up or just to sit/stand and get creative.

I have for you today another Fat Page featuring that sweet baby set from Smeared Ink called Babies of the Damned.  Over at the Smeared and Smudged Forum there is a Swap Shop area where each month you made a Fat Page for someone and then mail it off.  How fun is it to get a new page each month from those who share your love of the darker side?  I for one am so happy to have this opportunity.

I am going to enter this Fat Page into two challenges going on this month that are both Anything Goes.
First is at A Step In the Dark Challenge #7 and the second is Punkyou Girl Challenge #15.  I so encourage you to visit each blog and see what the Design Teams have created and worked on to get you inspired and crafting.
