Ike's World Challenges Week 2

One more week to get your hilarious entries into this Challenge #31 - Make Us Laugh at Ike's World Challenges.
Team B is up for this Week 2 reminder and inspiration.  Please see what my wonderful teamies have created for you...funny stuff!

I have made a card using a handsome image from Ike's Art called Night Stranger.  I saw this quote on Pinterest and had to laugh because I have mini-van, but not the stick figures.  It cracked me up and so inspired my card.

Smudgy Antics Catch Up! A Day Late Valentine

Sunday was my day to post my project for the Smudgy Antics challenge blog.  Now we had Friday the 13th, then Saturday - Valentine's Day, so what better way to end the weekend with 'a day late valentine'.

I have made a card that features a lovely little friend from the Smeared Ink digital set called Monster Hearts.

Hat's Off the these Deets

Heart friend was printed onto Whisper White card stock.
Colored in with Blendabilities and markers.
Veins hand drawn in.
Silver marker on eye piece and chain.
Crystal Effects on all eyes and drips on both fangs.
Fussy cut and adhered to card front.

Card base is Whisper White card stock with layers of Basic Black and Smoky Slate card stocks.
Words are from a Smeared Ink Past Rubber Club stamp set called Creepy Li'l Grumpies.  Stamped on with Ranger Archival Ink.

Playin' Catch Up! Smudgy Antics DT Project (Feb 7th)

Hello everyone!
I am playing catch up today.
This project was posted on the Smudgy Antics challenge blog on February 7th.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can join the Smudgy Antics February Anything Goes Challenge this month.
Be sure to check Smudgy Antics every day for some fabulous inspiration from the Smeared Ink Design Team members.

Today's project is featuring a stamp of a bat from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club set called A Little Bit Batty.
I have altered some little dollar store toys to make this bat head bobble head.

Swingin' the Deets
Base was some leftover Easter toys that had a spring on them.
Skelli head, from stash, was glued onto spring.
Bat face was stamped 5 times and layered.
Colored in with markers and inks.
Sponged around edges.
Colored small pearl jewels with Sharpie for eyes.

Head of skellie was colored with Blendabilities.
Base of layered bat was glued to skellie face with Crystal Effects.

Base of bobble head is a domino covered with washi tape.
Entire head was spritzed with Gold Smooch.

Ike's World Challenges Updates!

Last week totally got away from me.  I have 3 boys and they are all in Cub Scouts.  The Scouts celebrated Blue & Gold (Boy Scouts Birthday) and was super busy getting all things done for Friday.  Then had to rest a bit this weekend and back to the "normal weekly schedule".

So I missed a couple of posts that I wanted to get in last week.  First I have an amazing New Release Blog Hop for the digi set called Sea Life (12 piece set) done by some of my wonderful teamies over at Ike's World Challenges.

How awesome is this set?  Below will be a list of the projects dedicated to this new digi set that you can find at Ike's Art.
BLOG HOP ROLL:

Second, is that there is a new challenge at Ike's World Challenges that has started today!  It is Challenge #31 - Make Us Laugh.

Haunted Design House Februray Challenge

Its a 'Love / Hate Thing' for this months challenge at the Haunted Design House Macabre Monday challenge blog.

You do have all month long to get those projects in and they pretty much accept anything.  Anything being twisted, dark, and soooo unconventional.

Be sure to leave those minions some love/hate as well for the mind numbing projects that they create.

If you do not know, I am an American Horror Story stalker.  This year has been AAAAmazing and of course now must create!  Thank you Smeared Ink for this wonderful image of  Meep The Geek from a series of images titled Carnival De La Nuit.

Step Right Up for these Deets

Page base is a Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Used a Black Sharpie and ruler to make lines.

Background was an image found on Google of the circle front from the show.
Altered image with my Picasso and printed out onto Very Vanilla card stock.
Markers to highlight words and to color in various areas.
Sponged around distressed edges.

Words were altered in Word using Matisse ILC font and printed out.
Cut, sponged, and adhered to page.

Meep was printed onto Whisper White card stock.
Colored in with Copics.
Crystal Effects over entire image.
Fussy cut, sponged edges and adhered to page.
