Blog Hop Roll
Shoni aka Crafty Inknik - YOU ARE HERE
What better way than to celebrate this special day of love Smeared and Smudged style! Bloody, bloody, and more bloody. I for one am very excited to see what everyone on the Blog Hop Roll has created.
To find out more information on the event see Terra's Blog. She is one of the hard working ladies behind the scenes.
You should have just seen Wendy's dripping ornament and next up is Ike, who is seriously stepping up her game with multiple entries. Have fun, get inspired, and get crafty!
I also have an entry with Ike's World Challenges on this blog hop as well. So I will have the details for each below.
Pinned & Bloody is what my little project is about:
Ike's World Challenges Entry - Claws of Love:
Pinned & Bloody Deets
I printed a heart from Smeared Ink's digital stamp set Monster Hearts onto Avery Fabric Transfers.
Images was colored in with Copic markers.
Trimmed and then ironed onto Stampin' Up! fabric (Candy Cane Lane set - retired).
Fabric was trimmed and sewed.
Heart was then stuffed with dryer sheets and the fluffy layer used for sewing.
I used Paint Splats from Quick Kutz to make my blood puddles as my base.
Claws of Love
Kitty is from Ike's Art. Image is called Bauble Cat.
Images is printed, colored with inks and Aqua Painter, fussy cut, Versa Mark inked, and heat set with Clear Embossing Powder.
Paint Splats from Quick Kutz once again used as blood puddles under kitty.
Background
Negatives from cut Paint Splats were placed randomly on insert from designer paper pack and sponged in with Cherry Cobbler ink.
Ribbon is Real Red Stitched Grosgrain.
Markers for eye centers and around eyes to help pop them out a bit. Crystal Effects over each eye center.
Marker to make hearts randomly on background and to highlight eyes and words in poem.
Poem is from I Could Pee On This by Francesco Marciuliano, hand written with black Sharpie.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
