Smudgefest Day 3 & Smeared Ink Forum Challenge

3 Days into Smeared Ink's Smudgefest, on the Smudgy Antics Blog, and still going strong.  Today's entry is going into 2 challenges offered by Smeared Ink.
1.  Smudgefest Day 3 - Wicked Wednesday - Color Challenge

2.  Smeared Ink Forum Smeared and Smudged - Junk Funk Challenge - Bottles

The kids were at grandma's for a couple of days this spring.  Hubby and I took a little too much advantage.  Somehow an old bottle of Boone's Farm made its way into the kitchen.  When I say old, I think this bottle was at least 12 years old, so I think you get the idea of how drunk we were.  This bottle has been all over with us and I wanted to keep and make it into something.

I wanted it smashed and when I saw the Junk Funk challenge for this month, I knew that this was the project.  I glued the glass, ribbon, and cut skull images.  This took a couple of days to dry and had to add more Crystal Effects to pieces that were still moving around.

When Smudgefest Day 3 Challenge was posted this morning I got my inks (picture below) and spritzers ready.

Get ready for ONE DRUNKEN NIGHT:

THE MALTED DEETS

The skulls around the bottle are heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder.

I used the inks above and an Aqua Painter to color in main label, skull, and tag.
I used 2 framelits from Stampin' Up! -  Chalk Talk (tag) and Ovals (main image on bottle).
4 spritzers are made from re-inkers and alcohol; 1 is a Gold Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
Words on tag written in black Sharpie.
There are 2 cereal boxes glued behind for support.
