31 DOH - Day 17 and Haunted Design House Challenge #178

Hope you enjoyed Roni and her wonderful talent on Day 17.  You are now at Shoni aka Crafty Inknik's Blog.  The Wicked Blogger list is to the left under my info. Next talent is Jenn.
If you need more info about this event hosted by Smeared Ink and the Smeared and Smudged Forum, or to find out who the daily winners are click HERE, also Terra's Blog.  She is the first one on the Wicked Blogger List located to your left.

Look at that young, hopeful couple...
hoping that they will be in love forever, even if they turn into zombies!
Yesterday was our Anniversary and had to use a Rick St. Dennis image called Zombie Newly Deads
Here is the link to his new Zibbet shop where I got the image.
As you know, this page looks sooo much better in real life.
Flash took a lot of the dimension and shading out of it.

I will be entering this on Haunted Design House Macabre Monday challenge.
"You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Hallowe'en
based art piece that showcases Zombies or Classic Creeps  in some way."
Thee Loving Details
Printed Zombie Newly Deads onto Whisper White card stock.
Colored with markers and Blender Pen.
Used Versa Mark ink over entire image, added Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.
Fussy cut.
Hearse and saying are from Smeared Ink.  They are both in a set called Death Cab Digi Set.
I printed each out on copy paper.
Added some color and used Silver marker on cab.
Edges were torn and ink added.
Stamps on cab piece are from set called Glorious Grunge, Stampin' Up! (SU!).
Background is a Basic Black 8 1/2" x 11" card stock.
3 pieces of DP are retired SU!.  I added inks on each piece.
On the left side there are heat embossed vines.  Stamp is from a SU! set called Eleanor.
I used Versa Mark ink and Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder.
Flowers are from stash.
Washi tape from SU!
Saying at the bottom was written in black sharpie.
I printed out a wedding pic of us on copy paper.  Cut and tore around us.  Added Crystal Effects to help hold down edges and to help blend into background.
All materials used are current Stampin' Up! products, unless otherwise noted.
Had a lot of fun making this and just laughed at some of those old pics.
Ahhh...memories.
