Haunted Design House 168 - Hangman's Handiwork

Haunted Design House Challenge 168 - Hangman's Handiwork.  The challenge is to use knots or a noose anywhere in your project.

Click on the link above to find out how to tie a noose, see some the Design Teams handiwork, and enter your project.  You have until Sunday the 9th to get those projects in.

You never know when your time may be up (Yeah, that murder of crows is looking for you), so get crafting!

Demised Details

The tree is made from Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock.  This card stock really is fun to work with and the undertone color really gives great dimension.  I did not sand, only scrunch and twist.  I did add extra limbs to the tree.  I adhere with Tombow glue.  Tree measures 3 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" tall.

My noose is made from Linen Twine.

Hard to see but there is some Dazzling Details smeared randomly to give a little sparkle.

I stamped the birds with Basic Black ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  Basic Black marker to color the opposite side of bird.  Fussy cut and again Tombow-ed them on to each branch.  Birds are from a retired set called Toxic Treats.

Saying is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cart stock.  The letters are from the set Simply Serif Mini Alphabet.

I broke off the end of a toothpick for my steak and Tombow-ed to the tree.

All items (except toothpick) are from Stampin' Up!.
