31 DOH - Day 28 and IKE'S WORLD CHALLENGES DT Project

This post is a combination of the 31 Days of Halloween, Day 28, AND my Design Team Project for the new Ike's World Challenges, starting today.

For Day 28, you should have just left Roni's and are now here at Shoni aka Crafty Inknik's blog.  The lovely Jenn is next.  The Wicked Blogger list is on your left if you just joined us.

31 Days of Halloween event, is held by Smeared Ink and the Smeared and Smudged Forum.  To start from the beginning, see daily winners, and for more info check out Terra's Blog.

Ike's World Challenges has a new Challenge #4 Krazy Kritterz.  All team members will be using all kinds of Krazy Kritterz images from Ike's Art.  Search for those favorite animal/critter stamps that you have stashed away, or check out Ike's Art, and come join us for this fun challenge.

Normally I would have tried something with a cat, but wanted to try those not so popular animals.  Dippy Duckz were just calling my name.  I tried a couple of 'cute' things, but....they all wanted to get dressed up for the big Halloween Pond Party over at Old McDonald's Farm.  Who am I to say no to that?

The Downy Deets
Each duck from the Dippy Duckz set was printed out, colored in with ink and Aqua Painter, and fussy cut.  Each beak has Crystal Effects on them.

Darla the Ballerina
Hair fluff is the stuffing of an old lovie (stuffed animal).
Rhinestone Jewels for tiara/crown.
Pearl Jewels for eye.
Crumb Cake Tulle (retired, but can get from the Clearance Rack, SU!) for the skirt.
Marker to make laces and bow on shoes.

Drew the Pirate
Washi Tape from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog Witches Brew set, for bandana.
Eye patch, knife, and swirls on wing all tattoos from stash.
Linen Thread for band of eye patch.
Fibers from stash to make moustache and goatee.  I did braid goatee.

Debbie the Dead Brought Back
Fine Tip black Sharpie to make small x's for stitches.
Pearl Jewel for eye colored with black Sharpie.

Daniel the 80's Rocker
Blue hair tips are fibers from stash.
Pearl Jewels for eye.
Black Accents from Ranger used to make collar, bra, and shoes.
Rhinestone Jewels on collar.
Silver Dazzling Details for cups on bra, and makeup on face.

Banner
Banner pieces are all designer paper from Cast A Spell (retired).
Black Chevron Ribbon on each banner.
Black ribbon to hold banners is from stash.

  16. What a freaking riot! Love what you did with all the Dippy Duckz especially where you added the little tufts of stuffing. So cute. I'm so happy that you understood enough duck so that you could interpret each of their costume choices. Fabulous job!
