Smeared and Smudged Forum Challenges - Very Sketchy Card & Anything Goes

So happy to take a little break from all the sewing I have been doing this past couple of weeks.  I am trying to get a jump on some Christmas presents, how are you all fairing w/ yours?

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for Smeared Ink's December Blog Hop and you will see what I have been making.

I have made a 'Get Well' winter card following the Very Sketchy Card sketch on the Smeared and Smudged Forum.  I switch up the layers a bit and so love this guy.  I have also only used Smeared Ink images for my card so will also be entering this in the Anything Goes Challenge.  These challenges last all month long, so get crafting people!

The Not So Feelin' Well Deets

Snowman
Got out my new Smeared Ink Rubber Club November stamp set, Dark Holidaze, drawn by that kool kat Mr. Rick St. Dennis.  Snowman image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neena paper.  Markers and Blender Pen to color in.
Fussy cut and adhered to designer paper.
Small Pearl Jewels colored with Black Sharpie for eyes.
Dazzling Details on sword blade and star.
Sliver marker on sword handle, hat, and arrow feathers.
Image is outlined with Smoky Gray marker.

Card base is Whisper White card stock.
Snow Flurry Embossing Folder used on entire card.
Scallop Frame Bigz Die (retired SU!) for designer paper oval and frame.
Baked Brown Sugar Stretch Ruffle Trim on sides.

Card Inside
Designer paper is from pack called Winter Frost Specialty (SU! Holiday Catalog).
Word Window punch used for three ovals under stamped words.
Words are also from a past Smeared Ink Rubber Club stamp set called Grumpies Occasions (Sept. 2013) and stamped with Black Staze On.  Cut and adhered.
Small Jewel Rhinestones for embellies.
All materials used are Stampin' Up! and are current unless otherwise noted.

  1. This is such an awesome card! I love the pretty colors you chose to work with and the simple clean look it has, even though I know it's not simple! lol The ruffle trim is perfect!
